2025 Legislative Priorities
The Virginia Muslim Civic League is committed to fighting for the issues that matter most to Muslims throughout Central Virginia. This year, we are supporting bills that increase opportunities for multilingual students, safeguard religious practice, and empower our mosques and Islamic centers.
We are also keeping an eye on bills that would limit the freedom of political expression and could potentially be used to target Muslims and Muslim communities.

Day for All People
Join other faith communities in advocating for important social justice issues, such as criminal justice, healthcare equity, and affordable housing. In partnership with VICPP and VAIPL.
Muslim Advocacy Day
Join Muslims from across the Commonwealth to elevate our voices and make our concerns known to our elected officials. In partnership with MOVE Chamber.
Virginia for Palestine Day
Speak out against the infringement of free speech on college campuses and demand that our government divest from apartheid regimes by joining the Virginia Coalition for Human Rights for their advocacy day.
